In the half-set moon next to the Pier

We were standing very still
in the half-set moon, next to the Pier.
A minute passed,
filled with the burning void of the sky.
We were facing the sea,
only feeling the blood-heat of our bodies.
Half an hour went by,
we were now seated and darkened,
in the american night.
Our hearts were drunk with cold beers
and the freedom of unlimited possibilities.
